SSDN is a premier tertiary care ophthalmic centre strategically situated at the gateway to the NE –Guwahati. The centre has an annual footfall of approximately 1 Lakh OPD patients. We conduct approximately 20,000 Ophthalmic surgeries of various complexities on a yearly basis. Our human and technical expertise makes this a one – stop destination for patients not only from the entire NE but also from the neighbouring countries of Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal. This makes SSDN the most apt venue to host luminous beacons from the field of Ophthalmic Anaesthesia.

The theme of our conference is “Art & Science in Ophthalmic Anaesthesia”. This conference stands at the intersection of knowledge and practice, bridging the latest scientific advancements with real-world clinical applications. With a diverse line-up of experts, hands-on workshops, and ground-breaking research presentations, the event promises to be a dynamic platform where ideas converge, innovations emerge, and collaborations take flight.
